Our big fundraiser as a Team. St Peter’s Catholic Primary school kindly donated the hiring of the hall for our event. Many prizes were donated by companies, organisations and friends in and around East Grinstead to make for an inviting Raffle Table and Auction. Guests were also catered for with a sumputous Cheese and Pate platter and thirst were quenched with a well stocked bar.
The evening kicked off with a welcome and informing the ‘quizzers’ how important their donations were to the running of St Catherine’s Hospice, Crawley – our nominated charity in the Virgin London Marathon.
Great fun was had by all and many heads were being scratched trying to fathom out answers. Cheaters were threatened with expulsion to the Head Teacher’s office………….!!
We, The Magnificent 7, extend a HUGE thank you to all our supporters on the night ( and those who donated beforehand), as we have raised an INCREDIBLE £1300 plus from this event. This is not final yet as we still have some more money to go towards the total.
